October 2012 Weddings

Sick of it!

I know every so often, we all come here and post, "Ugh, I am ready for this to be over!"... today's my day, LOL.

I will be so ready to stop going over things and bickering and debating and planning and confirming all of this stuff! I just want the whole day to be over and on my honeymoon. :-/

Anyone else starting the week off fed up?

Re: Sick of it!

  • I'm still stressed about needing to get stuff done, and I work 4 days in a row, 12 hour shifts this week, so I won't be getting anything done this week!

  • I've been struggling to get stuff done too...I have been studying for my NCLEX and feel guilty when I try to do something else..hopefullly only a few weeks to go and I can focus on getting a job and the wedding...for now its back to studying! It will be here before you know it and we will all be saying "I wish it wasn't over!" lol

  • Yes I am ready for it to be over.  I still sometimes wish we eloped last September, but we kinda wanted family at the wedding.

  • I'm totally with you!  Although this week hasn't been that bad so far...

  • When my mother in law invites herself to places, yes I do wish it was over.

  • Yep...same boat. I just am done with it all. Its so hard for me to make a decision when everyone, either my mom, sister, friends, or FI have an opinion and they are all different. Then they say take time to think about it...WHAT TIME?! We need to do this NOW! lol Yep...I am there...AHAHHHHH

I seem to have one of these days every 2 weeks or so, you're not alone.  At first I was like, just get the big things done, and you'll relax.  Check. nope!  Everything leads to something else.  Everything needs something else done first.  Everything depends on someone else ( I hate that part!)

Then I stop and breathe and remember, hey, I'm planning this thing from FRANCE for goodness sake...it's bound to be a tad more frustrating when I can't even call people. :)  Then I go have a croissaint..or a crepe..or a glass of wine.

Not really, but I'm convinced that what everyone assumes ;) In reality I send another Facebook nudge to my mom..or to that person who really can't find the time to send me their new address..or I lurk on here ;)
