Re: Soft Lips

  • Scrub them gently using vaseline and a toothbrush.  Then put more vaseline on them or a chapstick.  Do this a few times a week and it should help.  I have to do the same to keep mine soft.

  • I agree with PP - you could also get a lip moisturizer. MAC has some and they are wonderful. I usually forget to use it, but when my lips get cracked and dry again - one day of using it and they're back to normal!

  • I use a DIY scrub of equal parts brown sugar (you could also use white, but I like the smell of brown), olive oil, and honey.  Rub this on your lips in circular motion for a minute or two then wipe off with a warm wash cloth.  After that I put on vaseline or chap stick.  Once a week is good for me.  :)

  • I am fan of my Satin Lips through Mary Kay Products! It is a Lip mask which exfoliates your lips and then rinse off and wear the lip balm.

What i leanred that chapstick has alcohol in it which actually dehydrates your lips causing them to be chapped, causing you to use more chapstick.

I have been using my satin lips for 4 months and my lips are never chapped! love it!! :)

Absolutely... I keep my lip mask in the shower, and do it every other day. It works great, and I don't go through a tube of chapstick a week!
