Heels in grass

My high heel experience is limited, I love flats. However I will be wearing heels during outdoor ceremony,BM will also. Will the heels sink in the grass? I have heard this happens? Is it true? Should I look for wedges or those things that attach to heels for walking in the grass?

Re: Heels in grass

  • It depends on the grass, your specific heel, and how wet the ground is.  It doesn't take much of a point to sink into wet ground.   A stilletto might sink in perfectly dry, thick, mature grass.

I'm wearing thin heels (about 1 cm), and I'm going to get some Solemates.

  • I bought the solemates and they really work. Good luck!

I've got some of those Solemates too- my florist was actually selling them in the little decor section of her shop. She says they work really well. I'm going to rec them to my gals, or suggest wedges or flats, since the whole shebang (except the slate dance floor) is on grass. I also have a pair of wedges for the reception, as a back-up.
