  I'm not sure if they take outside clients, but I bought my dress at Harold's in New Haven and they have two very good seamstresses that work there.

  I use Marcy's Tailor Shop in Monroe.  She just made some minor alterations to my dress for my shower and a couple of years ago completely rebuilt a bridesmaid dress for me. She's fantastic.
