A few questions :)

Hello WC Knotties!!  :)  I've got some questions I need assistance on. I'm gearing up in wedding mode and have things to do bouncing around in my head..

First and foremost, I need my dress altered. It's got to come in at the shoulders, hemmed and put in a bustle. Jon's Bridal recommends their in house people. I've never heard anything about them... Anyone have some really AWESOME reviews for a seamstress??

Secondly, I need candy :)  Lots and lots of candy for my buffet.. Should I buy online or is there a bulk candy warehouse nearby...

Thanks ladies!!  :)
Lynn

Not sure about a seamstress. I am taking mine to where I bought it. I figure they know their dresses.

As for buying candy, I would check out prices. If you are already a member of Sams, it would take that long to compare prices.

I would also check out party city and with VDay coming up, I would snag up the clearance stuff with cutsy love themes, that stuff goes for 50% off the day after and you could do the same for easter

I used a private lady Myong Henderson for my alterations when the bridal shops wanted to charge me $400 +  I only paid $185 with her.

Also BulkCandystore.com has lots of candy at reasonable prices.

Try Emelina's Bridal.  I've heard very good things about her.

I bought my dress from Jon's Bridal, but I was not happy with their service overall and I had heard some great things about a seamstress named Daisy.  I met with her at her home in Tampa and she was fantastic!  She altered my dress perfectly and WAAAAY under budget.  I would highly recommend her.  She is very popular with girls on TK.  Her number is 813-246-4630.  HTH!

I’m also using Daisy she’s out of the Brandon area and everyone raves about her (Ill let you know I have my appointment with her this weekend.) Don’t use the Jon’s Bridal in house, even the consultant who helped me warned me about them.
