Does anyone know, if someone buys something for your wedding, but it's not on your registry, if they tell the place it's for your wedding, is it scanned and added to your registry?? Because someone bought 2 things I did not put on my registry and do not want, but they are on my registry showing fulfilled. So I'm very confused how they got on there!

OMG the same thing happened to me, it was really weird. It was on my Kohls registry and it was a really ugly pair of black sandals and I did not put on there! And it was showing as fulfilled. I am praying that someone went in to Kohls and bought something off my registry and bought themselves a pair of shoes and when the cashier scanned the registry thing the shoes just got added on.

I probably should have called Kohls and asked them, but I immediately deleted the shoes off the registry because they were so ugly I didn't even want people to think that I had wanted them lol. I'm really hoping someone doesn't give me those shoes, because I will have to pretend to like them lol.

It was really weird. Are you registered at Kohls too by any chance?

I worked at BBB and there is a button key on our little keyboard to click on/off of scanning onto a registry. I'm willing to bet that the cashier accidentally forgot to click off. OR -- this guest purposefully wanted to gift you these shoes as a wedding gift. LOL!
Either way -- I'd have left them ON the actual registry, in the event of you finding them in a gift bag. That way the store wouldn't hassle you quite as much if you were to return them. GL!

It was Bed Bath Beyond, not Kohls- not registered there. It was a cute bride/groom wine stopper set, which I'm thinking she got us, fine. But it was 1 crystal water goblet that was weird, because really? I don't want that, and 1? Super strange. Well, shower will be interesting! lol

BB&B adds everything from the order to your registry it seems. My Aunt got us some silverware off our registry, and then got a bridal shower card and a candy bar, both of which show up on the registry as "fufilled" now. (I got the card, no sign of the candy bar though

)

i think that is a fairly normal thing to happen. I saw once on one these boards that tampons were added to a person's registry because the gift giver bought them at the same time as the person's gift.

Yes! That happened to me at BBB. My aunt bought face wash and floss. I deleted it because I didn't want people to think I registered for that stuff.

I guess this is a good reason to registry stalk- so you can delete stuff if need be!!
