Is there anyone else who still hasn't seen professional pictures?

I know I complained about this a week or so ago, but I'm just venting again. There's no sense in emailing our photographer, because she still hasn't finished up the pictures from the September 29 or October 6 weddings she shot. I would just like to see ONE picture. The thing that bothers me is that almost everyday she posts a teaser for family/engagement sessions that she shot weeks after our wedding. In fact, my H's brother and his faincee had their enagagment session 4 days AFTER our wedding and they already have their whole picture package back and I haven't seen any pictures.

We bought "Thank You" signs that we held for a picture or two and I wanted to make thank you cards with that picture, but I'd really like to get my thank you cards out now, but I'm sure my pictures won't be done for another 2-3 weeks.

I emailed our photographer and asked for a few pictures to show my ill father in law because he couldn't make it to the wedding. Maybe you can email her and ask for a couple, especially the thank you ones... It wouldn't hurt to just ask.

I agree it wouldn't hurt to ask for some photos, and specifically ask for the thank you ones. The worst that will happen is she'll say no. But hopefully you'll get the answer you want!

Our photog said it would take 12 weeks or so to get wedding pictures back so he's going to work on our day-after session first--we get 25 pics out of those...and we'll make Thank You cards with them. We just picked the 25 he's to work on so we probably won't get those for another 2-3 weeks. Yeah, maybe your photographer can just work on the Thank You pics first. Sorry she's been so frustrating for you

I think it's normal for photographers to take awhile. Check your contract for sure. Honestly, this is one of the reasons I hate the thank you picture idea. Our wedding was the 20th, and although he said our proofs should be done when we return, I'm not too worried about it. However, we did get a sneak peak! I would email her and ask for at least the thank you picture.

We were 10/20 as well and were told 6-8 weeks but he's hoping for the low end of that estimate. Just 2-3 weeks to go! :-)

(And I agree, ask if you can have your Thank You pics more quickly so you can work on those cards!)

We've gotten teasers and she's sending us a few couple shots to choose from for our thank you cards, but we won't have all the photos, edited on disc for a few months yet. We knew this going in.

We haven't recieved ours yet either from our 10/13 wedding. I talked to the photographer last week and he said we should have them by 11/18.....so anxious to see them!!!

We don't have ours from our 10/13 wedding yet either. H called the office over the weekend and was told it normally takes about 4 weeks, but because of Sandy, they're about a week behind and we should have them by this coming weekend. Only problem is we're leaving Saturday morning for our honeymoon, so it'll probably another 2 weeks before we see photos...

I would definitely email her and ask for some "teasers" at least. Not fair that she would post all of those others and not at least ONE for you. Our photog posted one on her FB for us...and then just last night posted a blog with like 20 more...and then today emailed the gallery and mailed the disc out to me. Our wedding was October 20th, so 3 weeks for pics...well, 3.5 until I get the disc.

Definitely ask for ONE!

Yeah our wedding was on 10/14 and we haven't seen even a teaser yet either

Luckily a lot of friends and family took pics so that's holding me over for now but I really would like to see something from our photog but I don't want to bug...

My wedding was 10/13 as well. We were hit hard with the hurricane here so I knew that would impact my photographer's turnaround time. I didn't get power back at my house until Thursday so he's probably at least a week behind in his work. We got 2 teasers the day after but haven't seen or heard anything since. I emailed him on Friday and he told me that I was #1 on the list for the sneak peek that he puts on his blog. I'm hoping I get to see it today or tomorrow. I know its disappointing but what can we do?

I haven't seen mine yet either. I was told that he's having issues with his computer. Hopefully this week I'm supposed to have a sneak peak. I just keep nagging him, it seems to be working.

If you're seeing teasers from others, I say go ahead and ask. We just got our teaser the other day, which felt like forever. Now I'm hoping for the link to our full gallery so I can start ordering prints and making our album this weekend. They said they thought this week, though, so I'm hoping for Friday.
