Bridal Salons

I know alot of people have made recommendations about where to shop for a bridal gown. I remember hearing great things about CC's and a David's Bridal somewhere.. :)

I'm gearing this question to a full sized ladies. Where did you shop at? And how were you treated? I've heard horror stories in the past about being looked down upon for being a full figured lady or having a consultant make rude comments about your size. I'm ready to start my dress hunt this summer after a quick trip to TX to make my girls shop for dresses & I don't know where to go!  :)

I'm a bigger girl and I went to Melindy Elene and CC's Boutique and both places were very respectful and very nice. They just use the clips to help you see what the dress would like in your size. I too was very nervous but they made my size a non-issue.

Awesome!! I'm glad you had a great experience. A friend back home had a horrible time which is what prompted my post in the first place. Thanks for the tip!

I am a full figured bride to be.  My wedding is December this year.  If you want one on one type attention I suggest you do not go to David's Bridal.  My two visits there I spent more time waiting then anything else.  The consultants are taking care of 3 and 4 brides at a time. I visited Alfred Angelo and Diana's Bridal where I had much better service and at Diana's she is able to order a plus size dress from Aurora if you find one you would love to try on in your size.  I loved the service and suggestions they had at Diana's.
