Unique wedding venues milwaukee/racine?

Hi
We're looking at getting married in Oct 2012 I feel like we have looked everywhere for our reception and just haven't found the right place yet. We started looking in Milwaukee, but our thinking of maybe doing Racine area (where most of our family is from and where we grew up) We don't want anything to expensive just a nice place that we can make our own. Any help as into unique places to look would be greatly appreciated! :)

Definitely depends on your price range and the number of guests, but here are some places in Racine:
    Roma Lodge
    Infusinos
    Fountain Banquet Hall
    Festival Hall
    Masonic Center
    Memorial Hall
    Radisson
    Marriott
    DeKoven Center
    Spinnakers Restaurant
    Unkorkt
    South Hills Country Club
    Racine Country Club
    Meadowbrook Country Club
    Wind Point Light House
    River Bend Nature Center

We were married at Holy Communion and had our reception at Roma Lodge.  LOVED Roma Lodge, they were so good to us.

Depending on the amount of guests you are having, I would check into the Botanical Gardens in Milwaukee. It is absolutely beautiful and you'd save so much on flowers and decorations. Also, we almost booked the Brookfield Zoo. They actually have alot of options! Good luck!

My friend had her wedding at the Milwaukee Zoofari Banquet Hall. It was very nice and the food was delicious!

THank you for all of the help :) We actually tried Roma Lodge maybe it was an off day for them but the lady who helped us out was very cold and short it really threw us for a loop we had an appt and she didn't even know we would be there, and was just going to hand us a contract with out even showing us the place. We just had a bad experience going there. Hopefully one of these will work out I'll look into them thanks so much again!

Slidergirl - try them again.  Honestly - they are a little spacy at first, but they are amazing on the day of.  Just amazing. People are still talking about our food and the venue.
