Understanding the Bridezilla mentality lol- VENT

I am now 26 days away from the big day and I am more the ever OVER the planning process. I dont understand why everyone feels so entitled to come to my wedding. My parents have had so many people tell them how surpised they were that they hadnt been invited . It is not that I dont want people there it is now an issue of space. There isnt enough room to accomodate all these "special people" in my life. I am going from feeling loved to feeling waaayyyy overwhelmed !  should have listened to FI and had a destination wedding !! Just ready for the honeymoon and to begin my life with FI all this other nonsense is annoying .

    girl do i hear you on that! 120 already rsvp'd for mine and there are stil 3 weeks left to return invites! i know i'm going to experience some headaches in the upcoming weeks!

    and like you, i should have listened to FI when he suggested eloping. planning is exhausting! :P

    I blame FI for my frustration because I wanted to take our parents and siblings somewhere and just get married with the 10 of us present.  OP, don't let the "surprised" people who weren't invited take away from your day.  If someone is truly important in your life and supportive of your marriage, they will understand.  Some people just don't get that space in a venue and money don't grow on trees!

    I second this as well. Should have went with my gut and eloped!  I know we are all under pressure, but your day will be awesome reguardless of all the bumps in the road that you are hitting now.  Take a deeeeep breath!  :)

    I too am not counting down to the wedding, but counting down to the honeymoon so that we can relax and enjoy each other instead of worrying about details all of the time.

    Thanks ladies !! Just had to let it all out. I knew all of you would understand since you are going through the same things. I think its funny how we all wanted to go away and changed our minds. I know it will all be beautiful and I cant wait to be sippin cocktails on the beach !!!

    OMG it's like you're inside of my brain! I am so annoyed by the amount of people that have put ME on the spot regarding not being invited. I should have just stayed in a cave the entire time that way I wouldn't run into old personal trainers or high school spanish partners...

    Now the people that WERE invited are somehow having problems responding. I said it all last weekend. I am just ready for it to be here. It is time.
