Getting Ready in a Hotel, they allow pictures???? NEED HELP PLZ!

Hey ladies,
Well.. Im getting married in a church at 4pm and the reception is at 6 30 at The Light House Chelsea Piers.

So for starters I need to find a hotel to get ready in... thought of booking a suite in a hotel near chelsea area (any suggesions appreciated!).

If Im getting ready in a hotel will the hotel be ok about us taking pictures there? or do we have to inform them we will be having our wedding party there prior to booking the room?? are there rules to that?? coz I have my photographer and videographer and the bridal party getting dressed there ... so I just want to be prepared. Thought it will be best to ask you ladies for advice.

My apartment will be a mess with 101 people staying for the wedding ... so I thought it will be nicer in a hotel. How does everyone get dressed????

Im in a full panic mode.... PLZ HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant really help you with finding a hotel, sorry. But, my H stayed at the Marriott in downtown BK the night before our wedding. While he was booking the room, he told them that he was going to have photographers there and other guys from the bridal party. He also cleared it with them to have a late check-out. The wedding was at 3 and check-out is either 10 or 11. They were very nice and even sent up a platter of breakfast foods for everyone while they were getting ready.

I got married in Chelsea and we got ready at the New Yorker. I was very happy with my getting ready photos. The best suite they have is 3810 which is right under the big New Yorker sign, which was pretty awesome.

I got ready at The Standard and it made for some awesome photos in the room.  Not quite Chelsea, but close!  I didn't let the hotel know my photog would be up there.  I think you're fine if you're just taking photos in your room but I know some hotels won't let you take photos in lobby areas, etc.
