What do the dads wear??

So our guys are going to be wearing tan linen suits. Do the dads wear the same thing or their own suits? The dads don't have to match do they?

They can do either. I think our dads will be wearing the same tuxes just so they stand out, but it is not necessary.

They can do either. Ask them if they'd like to match. They don't have to because technically they are not part of the WP.

The dads can wear tuxes, but I think my dad wants to wear a suit and my FI's dad would probably be more comfortable in a suit too.

Sidenote: My FI came to the realization this past weekend that he doesn't have a real full suit- he doesn't even have dark pants that fit anymore. He's thinking of doing suits for the guys so that way he'll have it for the future.

Our GM's will be in tuxes & so will the 2 ushers although maybe not as much of the ensemble. My dad will be in a silver tux with tie and vest to match my mom's dress. FI's dad will probably just rent a shirt and tie to match FI's mom's dress. He is on permanent oxygen due to his health condition and FI didn't want to make him uncomfortable wearing a big stuffy tux.

We're not having the dads match the GM. Between us, we have 4 dads. I'm not close at all with my biological father and don't plan to include him in the wedding as anything other than a guest. At the same time, I think it'd be weird if my stepdad, FI's dad and stepdad were all matching the GM and he wasn't so we're choosing to not match them at all.

Like PP our dads wont match the groomsmen. They will more than likely wear a suit or something of that nature. I would prefer the groomsmen to wear suits too but FI say he has to wear a tux. Lol

Our dad's won't match the groomsmen, but they will be wearing the same thing... Maybe a different corsage or something. They are just wearing black tuxes with silver vest and ties.

Dads will be wearing suites. The Gms are just wearing tan linen vest, shirts, and pants. No blazer. FI will wear a blazer and vest. I would the dads to wear a darker shade but their ties be a champagne color. While the guys will wear color ties to match the BMs dresses.

My 2 brothers are standing in since my dad passed away several years ago. One of my brothers is in a wheelchair, and bought a tux for his daughter's wedding a few years ago, so he'll be wearing that. I gave my other brother and my FFIL the option of a suit vs tux, and it sounds like both will wear tuxes so they look somewhat similar.

What do the dads wear??
