I've been tracking my invites and they should be delivered tomorrow..I can't wait to see them all printed up! I've seen all these cute bows and stuff and it makes me want to do something cute since mine are so plain! They're white with blue writing. My other wedding color is pink....any ideas?

    My invitations are white with navy writing (and going to be sent to me shortly). I think I'm just going to leave them as is, even though they are plain. I don't want to make a ton of work for myself, plus I can make sure that the postage stays down this way.

    We are handing out a lot of our invitations. A plus of living in a small town where everyone is right down the street. I have a small business card with the rsvp info on it and I keep thinking I need to tie it to the invite so people won't leave it in the envelope and not see it.

    Mine are plain, flat invitations as well. I waffled about getting something more elaborate, but ultimately this board talked me out of it. Maybe post a picture of your invites when you get them? Plain or not, I'm sure they're pretty just the way they are!

    on mine I added a belly band and made a monogram. A word of warning, though. I've heard many girls complain that adding a bow will change the invitations enough to really bring up the price of postage. Mine cost .65 each to mail and .45 for the rsvp envelope for 170 invitations being mailed out. It adds up.
