I've been to France (Paris, Versailles, the northern coastline), Canadia and Belize.
2) If you weren't in the field/career you are now, what you would be doing?
I had originally planned to minor in dance and get my certification as a dance teacher (side career), but a major back injury pretty much ruled that out. If I wasn't a marine biologist, I'd probably be a designer of some sort - interior design, wedding planner, something like that.
3) Thing that drives you craziest about the internetz?
My biggest pet peeve are probably sh*tty posters in internet forums, namely a) posters that can't spell/use proper grammar/speak coherent English, b) posters that resort to name-calling/spewing nastiness when you don't like what they have to say or (worse) for no reason at all, and c) spammers. I deliberately avoid reading comments on YouTube videos for all three reasons mentioned above.

1) Have you ever been overseas? If so, where? Yes, to Europe (France & England) in 7th grade. We went skiing in the French Alps, so that was pretty amazing.
2) If you weren't in the field/career you are now, what you would be doing? Either still in school, social work, psychology, or writing. Social work & psychology - I'd likely focus on child development and parenting. Considering I have zero children right now that seems kinda weird to me, but I think parenting is in huge deficit right now...and we need a revolution (hey, it's something I feel passionate about!)
3) Thing that drives you craziest about the internetz? Sometimes it's a little scary knowing all the crazy stuff that goes on in our world. But I guess that happened before the internetz. I hate when people don't reply to my emails - it drives me crazy.

No. Growing up my Mom was afraid of flying, and I just haven't had the time/money to really travel on my own yet. We're aiming for Scotland or Africa in the next couple years though.

Well, I'm still in university (for social work...kinda). If not that, it'd be for graphic design at community college. Some days I still regret not taking that, but I know I'll be greatful for my university degree when it comes down to it.

A little mix of everything (situation dependent), but I'm not overly trendy. I do a lot of layering and wear a lot of scarves. Boot cut jeans and cardigans are God's gift to the world as far as I'm concerned. I'm not much for shoes, but I love my slouchy black boots in winter, plain blue Keds in the fall, and black birkenstocks in summer. I hand make all my own necklaces, but I hate bracelets and generally stick to simple earrings.
