Wedding day timeline ?
Since so many of us are about to get hitched I am sure we have it all finalized by now. I am trying to figure out how much time I need to get ready...and if we should already be ready by the time the photographer comes or should we be getting ready while she is there ? I am also not sure what time to leave for the ceremony. It starts at 4:40pm and I am staying about 5 minutes away. I do not want to get there too early and just sit in the car, but I also want to make sure I am there in time. Maybe I could get there early and go into on of the villas to wait ? What do you guys think ?

Right now I have:

Private yoga session with BM's: 10:30-12pm
Shower: 12-1pm
Lunch: 1-1:30pm
Get Ready: 1:30-4:15pm (photographer comes at 3pm)
Ride to ceremony (5min away): 4:15pm
Ceremony: 4:40pm
Pictures on beach: 5-6pm (cocktail hour during this time)
First dance: 6pm
Dinner: 6:15pm
Cut the cake: 730pm
Toast: 7:45pm
Dancing: 8pm
Bouquet/Garter toss: 10pm
Bride/Groom exit with wish lanterns: 10:30pm

Does this sound good to you guys ???

i'm not sure. We aren't doing a tight timeline. We get up at 5am to get ready and have breakfast, wedding is at 9am. The rest of the day just goes as it goes. We are doing it island style!

Well I sent a timeline to our resort and she said it looked fine but that things just kind of flow, so we'll probably go with that. Right now it looks like:

4:30 ceremony

5-6 cocktail hour for guests (we do pictures)

6-10 dinner and reception

I'm not sure what time we'll start getting ready and stuff. It depends if my hairdresser comes down or if I have to book one at the resort.

I love that you are doing a private yoga session! What a cool idea!
