Wedding Invitations & Paper

What type of adhesive did you use for wrap-around labels?

Those of you who went this route, what type of adhesive did you use? I bought an adhesive roller, which is sort of like very thin double sided tape that rolls on. I'm worried about not getting it close enough to the edges of the labels and the labels getting snagged in the mail sorting machines.
I also bought some Super 77 and tried that...big stinky mess and too windy outside to lay things out and spray.

  • I'm using wrap around labels cut from full sheet labels, so no adhesive needed.  However, if that's not an option, get an xyron.  You can turn plain paper up to 2 inches wide (depending on which one you buy - they're about $30) into stickers.  They stick with no issues.

If you have a spare envelope I would test out the glue stick to see if it holds well enough. That way you know for sure before investing into the sticker method, which is more expensive. Put them under some heavy books while it dries when you do it though.
