Hi all,

I post on the Houston board, because that is where Im getting married. But my best friend is getting married in Giddings in June. The photographer she hired has not turned out so well, so she is really looking for someone new.

Can we get some recs of good photographers please??

I am using Ben Sassani. He is in the process of re-doing his site and raising his prices so I would book him while is his prices are still such a steal!

He lives in Houston but his family is from Austin and all of his family lives in Austin so he doesnt charge travel fees for Austin weddings.

Debra Gulbas is FANTASTIC! We did our engagement shoot this weekend with her and she truly is passionate about her work.  She works hard to get great shots and I highly recommend her!

I have done three sessions with Nessa Kessinger: engagements, wedding and after-wedding/we-did-it/trash-the-dress. She is a doll and lovely to work with. I hardly noticed her at the wedding! She got some amazing casual shots that I have been enjoying showing around.

I am using J. Mark Photography - sweet husband and wife team, plus they added a free portrait station for new bookings. I can't wait for that. A regular photo booth is not in my budget and I think this is a fun option.  I actually selected them using a video conference. I liked that not only they offered that option to me, but had the technology to do it. They are also running a series on how to increase wedding photography success that I have been sharing here.... I think they have some good tips and things that you...soooooo don't think about.

Tyler Schmitt.  www.tylerschmitt.com. He can't take a bad photo if he tried, and I'm absolutely in love with so many photos he took at our engagement shoot, my bridal portraits, and of our wedding. He's so laid back and fun too!

We're using Nessa K as well.  Looooove her.  I was obsessed with Christina Carroll for a while, but her prices were too much.

I LOVE your Aggie ring pic! My best friends and I took pictures in it a few weeks ago when I was in town.  Never thought about doing a shot with the FI in it.  So cute!! We really wanted to go back to A&M for our engagement shots but couldn't find a photog around there we liked.
