Roses for the bride... but Daisies for the bridesmaids?

Would if be weird if I the bride carried a bouquet of roses but had daisies for all the other girls? I really want Roses but can not afford it for everyone and I also have some really cool Ideas for decorating with the daisies. The flowers have been my biggest challenge.

    I don't think that would be weird at all! My BM's are carrying baby's breath and I'm not.

    No problem... the bride should be more formal anyway... 
    love daisies anyway... 

    if yo want you might consider adding a few monte cassino daisies to your rose bouquet. they ate tiny little filler daisies and really sweet... just a little smaller than a dime.

    Talk with your florist she may be able to suggest or show you ideas for bouquets that include roses with other flowers if you'd like your girls to carry roses.  You can mix filler flowers and less expensive flowers in with anything to create nice bouquets.

    My flowers are different then my bridesmaids.

    I'm having cream hydrangea, burgundy dahlias, red anemones, cream mini calla lillies & the ladies are having cream hydrangea, cream gerbera daisies, & mini burgundy gerbera daisies with black centers.

    They have a similar idea but not the same! :)

    i did the same thing-although i love love love mini gerbs, so i had some in my bouquet too. my colors were cobalt blue with hot pink and lime accents, so my bouquet was a mix of hot pinks, softer pinks, and white. my girls had hot pinks and lime green kermit poms. we didn't match but we coordinated just enough to tie everything together :)

    I carried purple roses whit white filler, the BMs carried some kind of orchid.  There was nothing tying them together, save the fact that both were purple and white, and it all looked just fine.
