Univited guests question

Hey ladies, I have a question on how to say something without having an attitude.

Back story: While I has collecting addresses from everyone to mail out wedding invitations one guest in particular told me to add her plus one guest well since I knew her I had already added plus one to my count. I thanked her and she told she understood how important for me to have an accurate guest count.

Current story: So lo' and behold her respond card comes back with 4 people after I specifically place her name and her guest name on the inner envelope. Now how do I tell her I ain't finna pay for 2 extra ppl in a very nice way without the neck roll and cutting of the eyes?

    Just call her up and say "hey, I got your RSVP! unfortunately, we can only accomodate you and one guest, as the envelope said.  Can't wait to see you there!"

    I really hate confrontation so I just holding off till we get all the RSVP's in. It sucks I know but I would rather not upset anyone or have those awkward conversations.

    I would apologize for the misunderstanding and let her know that only her and her plus one are expected and will be accomodated.

    Tell her what PPs said.  Then hold your ground firmly.  If she is insisting that she won't come without the extra 2 people, then tell her she will be missed.

    I agree with this.  You do not need to give any reason, just keep it short and sweet.

    </div><div>I'm assuming her 2 grown sons. And I do think its rude because she told me before I sent out invites to add a plus one. Then when I get invites back she added 2 more ppl. I'm going to tell her they are not invited because she didn't ask me could she bring them but I'm going to say it the way y'all suggested it.</div>

    <div>Thank you. I'm assuming its her 2 grown sons. They do not live with her anymore. My feelings are hurt because she knows I lost my job last year so I'm watching my food budget. I feel bad that I have to have this discussion with her. </div>
