Hotel El Convento in Puerto Rico

Hello Ladies,

I am recently engaged and ready to plan my DW to Puerto Rico!!! I hoping to tie the knot in mid June or July. My fiance' and I have researched venues online. I loved the look of the Hotel El Convento in San Juan, PR and the reviews seem fantastic. I sent a request for a propsal. I promptly received an email with attachments for the catering services which can be found on their website and they only provided me with one open date. Unfortunately,  I did not receive any information in regards to pricing for the ceremony. I called the hotel for information about pricing for ceremony but they stated the lady that sent me the e-mail was out of the office. :(  Do any of you wonderful ladies out there have any information that will help me with pricing etc.? If you have any other comments or suggestions that would be wonderful as well!!! Thanks for listening and I hope to hear from you soon!!!

    Hi! I dont know that anyone is doing Puerto Rico right now. I've been to this hotel and it was very pretty.

    I was originally looking at Puerto Rico for our venue and there are a lot of things you need to do to get a marriage license there so just be aware. Like letters from doctors and some other things.

    But the whole island is gorgeous. We usually take a cruise once a year out of San Juan and we had to pass it up this year with the wedding coming up and all the extra expenses right now. If you go at the right time the Bioluminescence Bay: http://biobay.com/  would be a super cool activity with your guests!!!

    Thank you so much for your response! I'll check that Bioluminescence out. It seems like there are a lot of amazing places on the island and I really want my guests to enjoy their stay as well. Thank you!!!!
