AW'ing on a Wednesday PIP

I know it's not Monday but I need to AW anyway! I made my first DIY today. I wanted to buy cute chalkboards to write "Save the Date" and "6-22-2013" on for us to hold in some of our engagement photos. After looking at a few different ones on Etsy I decided that I could probably make some for a lot cheaper price. I am not really very crafty though so I was a little bit nervous. Anyway, I think they both turned out great and I can't wait to use them. I am attaching a photo of the first one I made. The second one looks exactly the same.

I think it ended up being around 25 for all the supplies for both chalkboards.

That turned out great. I'm doing a few things myself DIY after checking prices on Etsy. Like you I decided I can certainly make it cheaper.

So cute Laura! you did a great job. I want a banner type thing for our e pics, I was just going to order one off etsy, but maybe I will try to DIY. Our e-pics arent until September so I have some time for trial and error!
