We are doing a cake and a sweet table. I would like to have mini cupcakes on our sweet table....so I guess...both?

We did both! We had a traditional wedding cake and then a bunch of dessert tables with all kinds of goodies

We had a four-tier cake, but it was a cascading one instead of a traditional tiered one. We also had a chocolate fountain.

We didn't do any of your poll options. We had cheesecake instead of wedding cake. It didn't come with the meal, we brought them in and the venue displayed them for us. PIcs in married bio.

We had a traditional wedding cake and candy buffet. The candy buffet was a huge hit and completely depleted! I'm not a fan of cupcakes at weddings, they remind me of a kid's birthday party. But they'd be cute if they were in addtition to the wedding cake.

We are having dessert that comes with the meal, which is what I voted for. Then in the evening will be 2 types of Russian/Jewish styles cakes that FMIL will make and will kind of act as the wedding cake, as well as Jewish style pastries (kind of like rugula) on the late night buffet table of fresh fruit and cheese and cracker board, and chocolate dipped strawberries to passed around. Hors d'oeuvres will also be passed around at night but that doesn't count as dessert. LOL I know it's a lot of food, but in FI's family, it's basically a sin to see the bottom of a plate of food.

I hate the cake option me and FI are not cake people I have been to a ton of weddings of which no one cares about cake, i never see anyone eating cake, including myself, just a leftover hassle

i didn't vote bc we're having a fake cake, each place setting will have a petit four (see bio) provided by our baker and the candy table is going to have a chocolate fountain
