So, my FI and I were given the name of a florist by a family friend and so we decided to get in contact with her. I'm very big on first impressions so when I called her, she answered in a snappy tone and originally didn't sound like she wanted to be bothered with until I told her that I was a bride getting married in need of a florist. Her mood instantly changed on the phone and she brightened up knowing that I could be a prospective customer. We set a time to meet but I arrived with my hesitations based on the phone call. She was very nice and helpful and even provided some helpful advice in areas the I was unsure about.
I really liked what she had to offer during the meeting but factoring in my original impression makes it hard to consider. She also informed me that she is new to the wedding business and as much as I want to give someone a chance as a newbie, I'm not sure if I should opt for a florist more familiar with the wedding business. I'm leaning toward checking out other florists but I'm not sure whether I should rule her out or keep her as a maybe?
