So the FI and I want our DW to be pretty relaxed. We don't even want to wear shoes. He's just planning on buying a nice blouse and tan kakis.
I was wondering if it would be acceptable if I just wore a little nice sundress? Just something white and a little short... nothing too much.
Thoughts?
And what is your dress going to look like for your DW?
Re: Is a short dress okay for a DW?
My dress will be long, more on the vintage style (mermaid silouette), but we are doing bare beet, and the bridal party will be wearing more casual attire.

I think a short dress is good or tea length. You know some bridal stores have the teal length and they're only a few hundred bucks( david's bridal). I don't have my dress yet however. I am torn between a long gown something light and chiffon or a tea length. My fi and I are gettting married at Sandals in Jamaica on one of the ocean piers. If anyone has suggestions please help!
your dress can be as formal or as casual as you'd like! i say go for any dress that you will feel beautiful in :-)

i was going for a traditional bridal gown but i saw and fell in love with this...especially after trying it on! i think its still traditional in a sense but also perfect for the beach :-) i also plan on going barefoot except i've heard about barefoot sandals and i may want to wear a pair!
libra- i am also getting married at Sandals in Jamaica! (Negril)
I am doing a full length for the ceremony but that's because my sister is altering my mother's dress for me to wear. For the reception my dress is short and I love it!
