Grand Hyatt Washington

Has anyone ever had their wedding at the Grand Hyatt Washington on 10th and H? The internet has about zero feedback about this venue. It's a large conference center, so I'm sure lots have weddings have been held there; I'm mildy curious as to why I can't find anyone's experiences to read about.

Would love to hear your two cents if you're familiary with this venue!

    I didn't have my reception there but had a meeting/visit there and didn't have the best experience.  The events girl who I was scheduled to meet with didn't show and another guy took us on a tour but couldn't speak to the wedding packages but said he would have the girl send the package info.  A month later I still hadn't received it and when I contacted her she sent a messy looking Word doc and by that time I had no intentions of using them.  The hotel is really nice inside and it's a great location but didn't trust them after our meeting experience.  That said, we went a block away to the Marriott at Metro Center and the pricing was better, the hotel is great and they give you personalized service.  If you want more details about it please feel free to email me: psmith1216@gmail.com
