So we have booked our rehearsal dinner at the Brio Tuscan Grill at Crabtree (Raleigh) and everything was set. Well, I called yesterday to touch base with the manager and was informed that the "private" room I was promised now has 2 other parties in it and will be separated by a "cloth curtain." Despite my explicit dislike of this new development, the manager said there was nothing that could be done. Well I obviously don't want to have a loud/noisy/etc rehearsal dinner (especially with grandparents who are hard of hearing and sentimental speeches going on). So my question is, do I stick with the potentially loud Italian restaurant or go with a catered event at the church's reception hall? The more I think about it, the more I just want to have something simple like a BBQ dinner at the church. Our wedding is in December (so we have some time) and we have not paid Brio anything so we're not out any $$. Thoughts?? Thanks!
