Renting a cotton candy machine

I realize that I'm going to have an 8 year old birthday party as my baby shower, but I really want a cotton candy machine. Does anyone know companies that rent these out for a few hours? And how much it would be?

    I can't help answer the question but I do have to say I am going to a baby shower in a few weeks and would LOVE it if there was a cotton candy machine!

    I wonder if the place I got my candy from rents the machine... call Philly Sweet tooth. Scott is so nice too! I know they have one in the store and they make favors.... maybe that is an option if they don't rent it?

    I'm totally going back to my 9 year old self cry every year for having my birthday in Dec. and not being able to have a pool party like the cool kids. Haha.

    BP--The only downside at having a summer birthday is that when you're in grade school... you get to bring in cupcake on your birthday and everyone sings to you when your bday is in December.  None of your classmates wish you a happy birthday when your birthday is in July.

    Haha.
    I am a summer baby my elem. school used to  cram all the summer birthdays into the last month of school.

    So they would do the happy birthdays of the day then do the first day of summer babies bday....

    I always took stuff in June for my summer birthday :-)

    I'm an August birthday that always felt left out of the school celebrating, too. The grass is always greener I guess...

    My neighbor started a business a little while ago doing cotton candy, popcorn, snowcones, etc. He is super nice and friendly and is probably very willing to negotiate. If you are still looking, I will ask for his number this evening.
