  Good Morning!
  
  I'm SO ready for the weekend! I'm the only one here today in my department... so that probably will make for a long boring day, but oh well! I have a wedding songs AOL Radio station on so i'm be "jamming" out to that today lol
  
  tonight is dinner at a friends house, tomorrow is my cousins wedding and sunday is fathers day stuff ... so a packed weekend as usual!

  Well I feel better today. I sent up an appointment with Carrie Powell and she was really, really nice on the phone. Thanks girls for the great suggestion! I feel hopeful now :-)
  
  Looking forward to this weekend as next week is my birthday (June 22nd) so we are celebrating this weekend a little. Probably spend the whole day tomorrow at Sandcastle, and because I'm not on crutches anymore I can ride the waterslides again! (And yes I went to Sandcastle on crutches... I didn't care who stared).
  
  Definitely have to find a dress for my pictures this weekend. I loved the website GMC showed me and found some awesome stuff, but I don't want to take the risk of ordering something this late. Janice, I will probably be going on Sunday if you want to come with :-) I just need an honest opinion. Just let me know and if you want to come I can pick you up somewhere!
  
  db- I hear you on being the only one in your department today. I feel like everyone is on vacation in my office too. Looks like you will have a fun filled weekend with family and friends!

  My good friend's wedding was last night and I was a bridesmaid so it was a loooong day.  But the weather was perfect, things went mostly smoothly, and she looked simply stunning.  I had a blast watching one of my best friends so happy.  FI came into town for a long weekend just to attend so it's great seeing him too.  We dboth felt that attending the wedding made us so excited for our own!

  
  

  Wedding-wise, I'm working on hair people.  I've talked to Pretty hair salon, brooke rockwell and Monica kitta.  So far everyone has my date open, so that's good!  And I'm officially stealing my friends alteration person so i can do that up here.

  
  

  sari - oh man i miss sandcastle.  And glad the chat with Carrie went well.

  db - im one of the only ones in the lab today too! Blasting music is my fave thing to do when no one is here.

  Sara-  I can't go this weekend.  When are you having your pics done?
  
  MD- I am using Pretty.  Heather (the owner) does my hair now.  I love her!!!  Erica is one of her girls too and she is very nice.  She hasn't done my hair but is always very friendly.

  Good morning, ladies!  I'm SO glad its Friday!  Our office is pretty full today, which is kind of disappointing.  I was hoping there would be a lot fewer people.  Oh well.  This weekend I'm going out with some friends to Cantina tonight.  I get together with these girls almost every week, but its normally a week night, so I'm excited to go out with them on a weekend.  Tomorrow I'm doing a cake tasting and I'm attending a bridal shower.  Sunday I'm going to my parents and FI's parents for father's day.
  
  J - I hear you on cleaning.  My house REALLY needs it!  Good luck with FG dresses.
  
  DB - 3 weeks!  Its getting so close!  Have fun at your cousin's wedding.
  
  Sari - glad you liked Carrie!  Good luck looking for dresses!  I work close to sandcastle and I really want to go.  Nobody ever wants to go with me.  Waaah!
  
  md - Glad you had so much fun at your friend's wedding.  Not to be rude, but was there a reason her wedding was on a thursday?  Is it hard to be back at work today?

  Janice - thanks for the tip!  It's so hard to choose a hair person without them actually doing my hair... i am going to try to look at pictures and then just go for it.

  
  

  Mrads- Not rude at all.  She found a venue she really loved, but it was also way way WAY out of their price range (which is why you shouldn't look at venues out of range.)  So the only way she could have it there was to do a non friday/sat/sunday, so they chose Thurs.  It was a little weird, and I think they got more "no" RSVPs than usual, but the groom had a big family that all came and their really good friends came.  I'd never recommend doing Thurs, but it worked for them.  It is tough being at work...but I'm glad I have my weekend free!

  MD - It took me FOREVER to get a pic into my sig...I'm tk illiterate, lol.  That's interesting about the venue, but I'm glad they got the wedding they wanted and it sounds like everybody had a lovely time.
  
  Sari - I LOVE Franchesca's on Walnut Street.  The clothing quality isn't the best, but it is pretty inexpensive (most of the dresses are $44 or under), they have a wise selection of dresses and skirts and the clothes look adorable (in general - at least, in my opinion).  Seriously, gtg at Sandcastle!
