Eric's in Waterville or Elks in Augusta

Wondering if anyone used Eric's Restaurant for their reception. I've never been there, nor have I tried the food, but was planning on setting up a meeting there. I was wondering if anyone had there reception at their banquet facility? Our reception would be in January so we would have to have it there.

Same thing for the Elks lodge in Augusta. Prices seem reasonable but how's the food and the reception area? 

I'd love to see pictures of people's reception at either if you're willing to share- ctheriault@mail.une.edu :)

    I have no idea about the Elks in Augusta, but a number of years ago, I attended 2 weddings at two different Elks lodges...one in Lewiston and I have absolutely no idea where the other one was.

    Honestly, for both of them, the food was less than desirable.  I know both couples were on super tight budgets and this was their best option, but I would have been disappointed if I was the one spending any money on that food.  Maybe things have changed, or may each lodge goes through their own local caterer, but these two were no where near each other and both had the "eating in a school cafeteria" feel.

    We are using Eric's in Waterville for our reception, The food is awesome, and the prices are excellent. My FI has known Eric for years. All of the functions at the Elk's club I have attended have had very substandard food.

    Eric's is at 105 College Ave in Waterville, Cumberland Farms is across the street. They are open from 6-2 pm for lunch and breakfast if you want to check them out.
