How much are you/did you spend on your wedding day hair?

I'm starting to do research for a salon to do my hair (and maybe some of my bridesmaids) on my wedding day. But I have no idea what is reasonable for special occasion hair. Just for a point of reference, I live in the city proper, and our ceremony/reception is in the city too. What is your budget for this?

    I would start by asking your bridesmaids how much they would be willing to pay. You should check out Tamara Makeup and hair. They are very reasonably priced. I am using them for hair and makeup because they are the only wedding hair and makeup people that charge under $100 per person. I have seen salons charge brides over $200, which I think is NUTS.

    Check out the Bridal Beauty Salon - they do free trials, and I was SO happy with mine.  I would have to go double check my paperwork, but I believe it's $125 for the bride, $85 for bridesmaids, and $65 for moms and junior bridesmaids.  I thought it was very reasonably priced.

    My trial was in Jefferson Park at my stylist's salon (Goca's Salon) and she came to my hotel (downtown) the morning of and charged me $100 (which included the trial).  I'm a regular customer, though, so i'm not sure if that was a special price.  She charged $60 for each of my BM's.

    I'm using Debbie from London's Page.  She's my long-time stylist who's starting a travel/wedding hair deal and she's pretty great.  She charges $90/bride and $80/bridesmaid, but she does have some packages depending on how many are in your bridal party.

    I just had my trial done with Deanna from www.beautybydeanna.com and she was amazing. Bride $100, others $55.

    I also have a trial coming up with Nikolina from www.moyamakeup.com. All of her stuff looks good and her prices are 90 for bride and 50 for others. Tamara was also reasonable priced as mentioned above. Those 3 MUA were the only three that I even considered b/c most of the rest of the MUA in the chicago area wanted to charge my bridesmaids too much.
