I wanted to have my daughter's wedding there, but my daugher did want her elderly guests to travel that far from the church ceremong.  But the staff were great when I was speaking to the,  Call nd sask for Mikki.  She was great.

    Hello fellow knottie!

We will be married in a few weeks at the Club at Sonterra.  The coordinator (Micki) is awesome.  She responds to every email with in 24 hours.  Everyone I have talked to that has attended a wedding there was very pleased.  Our tasting was delicious and Micki also provided a taste of our signature cocktail and ice cream bar (yummy). The landscaping is beautiful.  We actually attended the Taste of the Northside during Fiesta which is held on the club grounds - it is absolutely beautiful!  I can't wait.  Let me know if you have any questions.

    Hi,

My mother was married there in September 09 and it was very beautiful.  However,  the coordinators rushed everything.  They didn't announce the cake cutting which caused my grandmother and the entire family to miss out on watching the couple cutting the cake.   The same happened with the entire reception.  The two female coordinators were rushing my mother and my stepfather through the entire reception.  Not sure why they were in such a hurry but it ended up ruining my mothers entire reception.  The food was awesome!

So I would have it there but I would just make sure they stick to your timeline not make you rush to theirs.

    Good Luck!!!! and Best Wishes!!!

I went to look at this place 2 days ago. The place is nice and the packages they offer are amazingly priced and they seem like they have a lot included. Its pretty inside but kinda stuffy. Even though there are a lot of windows, it seems kinda dark in there. Hope this helps

My wedding is scheduled there for October!  :-)  So far I have been impressed at how fast they respond to emails (Micki in particular) which didn't happen with some of the other venues I was considering.  Their packages are reasonably priced (again, compared with some other venues in this part of town) and include a lot.  The ballroom is pretty and the landscaping is nice.  If you have a smaller group you can also rent their other room which overlooks the patio.  The back-up plan for an indoor ceremony (if it rains) is a very nice room that almost looks like a chapel.  We haven't done our tastings yet but I am glad to hear that the food is good.  I believe the "day of" coordinators are actually not Sonterra employees but are just hired for the event from Events by Reese.  I am going to make sure to come up with a clear timeline and give my DJ the info to announce so no guests miss any of the important parts.
