Signature Cocktail

We want to do one signature cocktail, and beer for our bbq reception. Since one of the colors is red I was thinking about doing either strawberry daiquiris or strawberry margaritas, which would you prefer?

Personally, I always feel that the strawberry makes daquiris or margaritas too sweet, so I'd vote for either a plain daquiri or plain margarita. Are they going to be frozen?

I personally prefer margaritas

but I think the daquri would appeal to more people.. ? Just my opinion

It would have to be on the rocks, i dont want to only hear a blender going the entire day

Then I definitely vote plain, since it's on the rocks. Actually, I like on the rocks better than frozen anyway.

I went for daquri only because you have non alcoholic ones also. For red as a color you could pretty much do any mixed drink with grenadine though. Like Shirley Temples or something (Do those have alchoal? or just virgin?).

See if your venue has some kind of ice-machine type thing (you know, the things you see for slushies and stuff). Maybe they could make daquiris or margaritas in that to avoid the blender noise, and still have a frozen-style drink. Frozen is always my preference, and I would choose daquiris if you could do that.

Otherwise, margaritas are tasty on the rocks. And you could do a strawberry margarita and have a virgin option for that flavor for non-drinkers.
