Franklin County Fairgrounds

Has anyone ever been to a wedding at one of the buildings at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Hilliard? If not, has anyone checked them out as a possible wedding venue?

    It's been a while (5 years?) but I did attend a wedding there - ceremony in the little church, and then everyone walked over to the big building for the reception.  

    Bride and family had draped little white lights over the entire ceiling, so after sun went down, that was lighting.  

    Very country chic theme - hay bales, long tables with checked cloths - City Barbeque AND a pig roast!  Also, I know they brought in their own bar/drinks

    I asked bride HOW they had time to do all the decor and make it so pretty, and she said she basically got the key, and they could come and go ALL week to set up and decorate.  

    No idea if that is still true, or cost, but it was great.

    Thanks for commenting! I received a reply back from them that our date isn't available there so I'm checking out the Makoy Center in Hilliard on Saturday instead :)
