Palm Beach photographers??

I thought keeping a budget of $10k would be easy.. but its not. We are trying to cut corners everywhere.. I heard its not a good idea to cut costs when it comes to photography...
I originally thought a budget of $1500 would be good but there are a MILLION photographers in south Florida and they all seem so expensive. We meet with Studio M events the other day and they basically sold us on their package (great salesmen.. even though we DIDNT sign yet) they have photo and video for the whole day.. 3 albums.. 6 DVDs copy rights.. etc. But that is $3000. thats double our budget.. I tried to look them up but they only have a few reviews online and they all seem to be from the same person...
Any one heard anything about them or know of any photo and or video in that budget in south florida?
Or whats everyone doing about video? Should I spend the extra and get it or not worth it?

    We decided to splurge on our photography because it was important to me to have the best pictures ever. So to compromise we decided against a videoagrapher - we bought a mini video camera and we're gonna pass it around at the reception to get some cool video.

    Our photographer is NeoArt Photography in Boca Raton. Jason is amazing so it might be worth looking into if you decide to go over your budget a bit.

    Our photographer is Ricky Stern ( http://miamiphotographer.net/ ). He is in Miami but we're getting married in Boca and he is fine with that.
    We just had out engagement shoot and his personality and photography are great, I'm really happy with our choice.

    He is right up your ally on budget. I sometimes dislike asking for recs here because people will write recs for vendors that are twice (or more) as much as you want to spend just because they love them and can afford them. I think going over a bit is ok, but getting someone that is twice your original budget is not necessary. There are tons of great photogs in your price range, ultimately Ricky was the best choice for us.

    I hope you find what you're looking for and that your budget doesn't suffer too much. Do your research and take a look at the photographers websites. I know these pics will last a lifetime but honestly, I couldn't justify spending 5K. I think at that point, you're just paying for the brandname.

    I understand you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can advised on Alina M. photography.... her packages are good for 1,500 and just recently she had a sale of $850.... she always has good sales... her work is awesome...


    I looked at Ricky Stern also.... prices aregreat too... and his work is amazing as well.... HTH...

    for Videography... So far the cheapest i found for good quality work for $1,900... alot for the buck and is a cinema like... i gave you the link... but you could get cheaper than this...

    Did you check Acromatico?  They were recommended to me by a friend and have great reviews on Wedding Wire.  They are a really sweet couple and are very reasonable.  They have several different package options and will work with you on customizing to fit your budget.  I haven't done my shoot with them yet, but they have been a pleasure to work with so far.  As for video, MXI has some great prices....I chose not to go with them, but they are definitely one of the most reasonably priced videographers.  Good Luck!!!

    Check out Cyrstal Lynn Fielding (she is on FB) and Dana Lynn. Both of these are very affordable and their work is good. I believe Dana Lynn's most expensive package is $1,500...well in your budget! :)
