    The TS itself is suuuper rainy, but not bad enough for most people to even cancel plans.  Yesterday my parents went grocery shopping and out to eat, and FI still had to work (he's a pizza delivery guy).  Last night, in a weird move that I've never really seen before, a hot air mass came up from the Gulf and wedged itself between the center of rotation and the outer rain bands, causing a swath of empty air to roll itself up inside the storm like the cream inside of a swiss roll.



    Last night, that allowed individual severe thunderstorms to form in that air mass rapidly, and follow Lee's rotation.  The thunderstorms were the scary part, because they contained lightning (tropical systems don't), spawned a tornado, and caused so many tornado warnings that I lost count.  FI and I stayed up until 2:00 a.m. tracking these storms, because Lee was no big deal.

    FI and I decided to skip church today, because it is supposed to be flash flooding today and the tornado warnings kept us up late.  Then this morning, it's freaking sunshining in my bedroom, lol.  There's this eery eye-like calmness outside right now.  Zero winds, zero rain.  However, the main chunk at the center of rotation is headed right for us, so I know it's gonna suck again tomorrow, lol.

    it ruined my laundry day. I was hoping for a sunny day so I could dry clothes on my clothes line but nope it's cloudy. so much for trying to save money

    Well, today it is sunny, beautiful, and fall-like outside!  If that's the reward we get for putting up with Lee, I can get over a ruined weekend, lol.
