Getting Married in Bethany Beach, DE

Hi, all!  I've been reading through pages and pages of posts looking for ideas for my October 2011 beach wedding in Bethany Beach, DE.  I thought I'd go ahead and start my own thread to see if I can collect some ideas from you in one place!  We have already booked our location, the caterer, the photographer, and have the save/the dates and invitations in process.  We are still trying to nail down a DJ, a baker, and a florist.  Any recommendations???

Thank you!!

Hi.. I'm getting married down in October 2011 in Rehoboth.  Unforunately I'm probably not much help.  I haven't started to look for a baker or florist yet.  I know there are two in the Rehoboth area and I plan to contact several bakerys down there too.   What day are you gettting married?

Below is a list of Bakery several of my vendors have suggested.

We are getting married on Saturday the 1st.  I have contacted Daria's and Pasqualini's, but haven't heard of Quiet Elegance.  I will look into them as well.  Thanks for the suggestion!

    South Pacific Florist - 800-3887806
    Windsor Flowers - 377-9481

Hiiiiii!! It's so nice to see other Sussex County Brides.

For my cake, I'm using Brian King with Quiet Elegance Bakery. He is fantastic, the cakes taste great, and they're beautiful!!! He takes a few days to get back to you, but it's worth it.

For florist, I met with Bayberry and Windsor's. There is a huge price difference between the two, with Windsor's being less expensive, though Karl Grimm at Bayberry really is an artist, so it may be worth it. I'm still deciding between the two.

For DJ, I'm using DJ Sharon at Dune Tunes- .dunetunes.net. (No www.) She is fantastic, and is a local favorite when she DJs at local bars. She's also really reasonably priced.

    Hope this helps!!!

Thank you so much for the recommendations!  I will reach out to both Brian and Sharon. I'd really like to get these last few items nailed down before too long.

does anyone have any suggestions for rehearsal dinner sites?

Tfinn, I would suggest doing separate posts for these questions (two separate posts).  You are not going to get the answers here, because everyone thinks this post is about getting married in Bethany, not about videographers or rehearsal dinners.  You will get a ton more answers if you do separate posts.
