Seriously? $500 per person for a week at an AI? Where at? I've never been to one and Mr. Kupcakes and I want to check one out!

Haha. That's the per person for a double room. We will be at Dreams Punta Cana. The honeymoon suite is among the most expensive at ~1600 for two people which still isn't too bad for something of that level. It could have been under 1000 for some of our guests if it weren't for sky high air!
