Ceremony/ Reception Sites in the Asheville Area

Help! I'm getting married next April in the Asheville area where my fiance and I met, but neither of us live there right now. Last week, we took tours of The Farm at Candler, Claxton Farms, On Broadway, Homewood, Hidden River, Fields of Blackberry Cove, Sleepy Hollow B&B, and the Crest Center, but they all get a little pricey. I didn't know if there were places that were more obscure that might be cheaper. I feel like I can't go ahead with any other wedding plans until the venue is chosen, and I'm feeling a little discouraged.

I am in the exact same boat!  We are getting married on 4/2/11 and I am pulling my hair out trying to find a venue in the Asheville area that isn't going to kill my bank account!

Try the Beaufort House Victorian In B & B-it is about 1 min from downtown, but you can't even see the road!!!  They are wonderful to work with, and are quite inexpensive.

Tell them Julie Hatley recommended them!!!  they know who I am...good luck!

if you have any questions about it-email me @ juliehatley@creativedesignsbyjulie.com

Does anyone know of anything that can fit 110 people indoor for a plated meal? I want a rustic venue with the mountains as the backdrop.
