Florist for Fake (silk, real-feel, etc.) Flowers?

Hello! I have decided to use fake flowers for my wedding in May 2013 just because we are having a destination wedding and it will make things so much easier and it will also help out our budget. Anyway, I really don't think I will be able to make my own bouquets and boutineers, I'm not that creative. I've been searching on Etsy for florists but I was just wondering if anyone recommends a florist who works with silk, real-feel, or any other type of fake flowers? I'm willing to pay for shipping, but unfortunately, I will have to work through someone online because we don't have any near where I live. Any thought or suggestiongs will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

  • You might ask on the local boards for your area for specific references.

Or if you have any craft stores in your area, like Michaels, Hobby Lobby, or Joanns Fabrics, some times they offer floral design classes, or have personell that might could help you, either through the store, or on the side.

Or ask at grocery stores that have a floral department.
  • I agree about asking on your local board. Silk flowers are everywhere from dolllar stores (don't laugh, some are pretty) to craft stores. Your local board may also have some crafty ladies on it that would help you with where to get what you want, and maybe even with how to do them.
