Sweet Caroline's Bakery

They're on Tampa Road in Palm Harbor.

One of my friends raves and raves about this bakery.  Has anyone tasted their cakes/wedding cakes?

I read on their website they make everything from scratch and use real butter.

    I was at a party the other day with a cake from there.  It was absolutely awful.  My fiance and friends agreed... and so did everyone else because all of the plates in the garbage sill had a ton of cake on them.  The cake was dry, plain, flavorless, and my fiancé was pretty sure it was stale.  The host said she paid $600 for it... it was a sheet cake! I would rather have a cake out of the freezer at Publix before the awful cake they served.  It was a really disappointment.  Maybe it was just a one-off bad experience, I would definitely do a tasting first!
