Bride and Groom Exit Vehicle

My fiance and I are getting married at Castleton in Windham, NH.  We are having both our ceremony and reception there.  Since we aren't moving around from a church to the ceremony, we don't think a limo is necessary.  However, we would love to make a grand exit.  We have a shuttle booked for the guests at the hotel, but we would prefer not to have to take the shuttle and have our own little escape.

We looked into getting something classy like a Rolls Royce, but most vehicles have a 3 hour minimum.  I've been quoted anywhere from $400-$980 for the Rolls.  It seems quite steep, as the hotel is only 10 minutes from the reception.

My fiance has also made it very clear to me that he does not want to be the one to drive (he doesn't want to have to worry about drinking and driving) so renting a car isn't an option either.

It seems to me like we've hit a brick wall and we'd either have to pony up the money and get the Rolls, or cut back slightly and get the limo.  I just really wanted to be able to put a "Just Married" sign on the car and that might be difficult with a limo.

If anyone has advice please let me know!  Our wedding is in Sept, so we have to book transportation soon!

The rolls would be neat, but that does seem a bit pricey.

Maybe call around to come limo companies.  There have been a few mentioned here that can work deals wit hthe time frame.  Also, maybe they have other types of vehicles rather than a stretch limo.

    Good luck!

Another idea that just popped into our heads was a canoe or paddleboat.  Casteton is located right on Cobbett's Pond and it would be fun to exit on the water with guests blowing bubbles at us while we sail off into the sunset.  (and the reception ends just before sunset so it would work out nicely.

Does that sound too complicated, though?  I don't mind getting my dress wet or anything as I won't wear it again.
