LA Custom Wedding Dress - NEW to the Knot!

Hi there!

I just got engaged and am looking to possibly take parts of my mom's wedding dress and have it custom made. Does anyone have any suggestions of designer/makers in the Los Angeles/Orange County area? Thanks for your help!

    I HIGHLY recommend Patty Sanchez.  She's amazing !!!  She used to own a bridal shop called Monaco Couture in Los Angeles (www.projectwedding.com/vendor/show/monaco-couture-mni-bridal-inc), but she had to close it because of the state of the economy.  Now, she works at home, but she is still as talented as ever and can make anything your heart desires.  Here's her contact info:

    There is a store in downtown Ventura, Ca that does custom designs. I am thinking of taking my dress to her to have altered.  The store is called Sew What and the owner is named Myrna. (805)653-1920.
