Good Morning ladies!

I see we had some fun (and I use the word lightly) last night. I just can't stand the duck face picture, thats all I have to say about that thread.

I got to sleep in for a bit, until the dog decided to bother the cat right outside the bedroom door. H is on his run, I think I'm going to get ready to go shopping soon. Who doesnt like shopping for baby clothes! At least I dont worry about it fitting me, ugh!

Morning, kd! I'm about to start getting ready to head to campus for the game. I hope it's a good one! Not sure what we're doing after but I have a feeling we won't feel like doing much. It's supposed to pour today so we will probably be soaked and just want to come home. Have a great day, all!

lol - I stayed in bed too long, being lazy, and now am about to run the errands. FI is working in the garage putting up insulation and dd is gone with her friend to the family cabin for the day.

Feeling blah and drained, but need to be productive.

Shopping for baby clothes is SOOO much fun. I miss it.

Me too Blue! Fall is my favorite. Being in the city this year for Fall is kind of a bummer! I want to go apple picking and you just can't do that in Central Park!

Fall is done here. I woke up this morning and had to fight myself to get out of bed. The house plummeted to 54F degrees overnight thanks to 22F temps outside .

Cleaning out the fridge and freezer this morning because it's terrible and then heading out for chores like grocery shopping.

Good morning! Off to bank, Kohl's and grocery store. Already worked a short shift this a.m. so I've been up since crazy o'clock and I feel energized. God knows, there's little enough of that in my life so I tend to take advantage of it.

Pixie - how do you like living in NYC?

I'm really enjoying it Marrin! We have been here about a year and have definitely gotten to know the city well! It's such a great city and we have been enjoying all it has to offer. Central Park is one of my favorite places ever and living near Broadway is just so cool! We will probably only live here another year or so. The cost of living is so outrageous that we could never buy a house or have kids here so knowing we would only be here a few years has definitely inspire us to soak in the city while we can!! Thanks for asking! This time of year I definitely get homesick for the Fall or Upstate NY!

Blue- Have a great "fall" day. I really want to go to a festival of some sort, but I dont know of much around here. Where I used to live my BFF and I would go to the sauerkraut festival and the pork festival every year, I miss it.

KD, you're so dedicated, getting Christmas stuff done already. I have a few gifts for people, but that's only because we went to a charity auction and I picked up some stuff to give away.

H is battling the flu, but still going out to work on the house. Poor guy. I feel pretty useless out there right now, so I'm staying home and catching up on work and chores.

The only reason I have to start on presents is I'm crafting and it takes awhile. So dont be too impressed ;)

Bath salts KD? Are you sure?

Pixie - so glad you are enjoying the experience. I would move back to Chicago in a heartbeat - always, always, always loved living in the city. Son lives there now, but he's a suburban kid at heart since xH and I moved to the suburbs when he was about 5.
