BBQ Catering in Racine or Milwaukee

We are having a very casual relaxed wedding and I really just want someone to bing trays of pulled pork, beef, and chicken with buns and bbq sauce. I know I could get it in Nashville for under $200 for 100 people. I just can't seem to find it here. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try Danny's Meat Market on 4 Mile.  They have AWESOME meat.  Email me at msteph82@gmail.com and I'd be happy to send more recommendations!

I got a quote from Famous Daves for 200 guests and it came to just about $2000. They charge by the plate, and I quoted for the middle level plate but they do have a cheaper plate than that, I wanna say $7/plate. That price also included servers, set-up and clean-up, plates and utensils, and the mileage to my venue (About 50 miles). You also have the option of ordering extras, like extra sides or so many racks of ribs, whole chickens, etc. should you want something special for wedding party and parents. We're going another direction but in my opinion the price for Famous Daves was really reasonable for the quality of the food! If you do go with them, DEFINITELY make sure they bring cornbread muffins! That's the best part!

As an alternative option you could do a pig roast. Then you could just buy rolls buy the dozen. I know Brossman's Catering is very reasonable and will take care of the entire roast plus presentation.

Me and my fiance are also doing a very laid back, budget frendly wedding and I just found a photographer out of Waterford who has fantastic pricing and a very creative portfolio. Though I'd pass on the good word- www.katietomanphotography.com

    Good luck!

I second Danny's Meat Market.  There's also Saz's in Milwaukee.

thanks for all the suggestions. Danny's is definitely high up on my list. Seems like they can make my meat, and we can pick it up and enjoy. Has anyone used Bunzel's before? they seem to have pretty good prices too. Or Irene's catering?

    Thanks!

If I go with BBQ I will likely go with the Silver Spur in Elm Grove. They have great food and the owner is really nice.

I would go with Saz's. You can't beat that BBQ!
