Seating Chart Check!

It done!I thought it was going to me horrific but it was easy! I actually found something on pinterest that made the process so simple. You get poster board or paper and make a diagram of the floor set up. You get the skinny post its I did blue for FIs side pink for mine and two other colors for work people write the names of everyone on the post its and put it on the outskirts of poster board. Start peelin them off and putting them on a table ::

Good job! I kind of hate to mention this now in case you weren't aware of it but do you know about TK's seating chart tool? There are certain things I don't like about it but I've played around with a few different seating arrangements and it's probably what I'll use to create my chart.

I've see that pin-I think it's definitely a good idea if you've got more than one person working on the chart :-)

Yay!! I am not looking foward to doing mine. One of FI's uncles who never leaves his home state is coming to the wedding. It will be the first time the brothers and other siblings coming to wedding will have been together in years. So now everyone wants to sit at the same table/by said uncle. I know they will be fine with whatever we decide, but still I'm afraid someone is gonna be mad for not being placed next to the uncle.

That is how I planned on making mine seating chart as well, I am glad it worked out for you - it makes me feel a lot better about it lol!

woo thats a big check!

I started mine in excel just went across the top and put table 1, table 2 etc. and then 10 names under each of ppl I know will be there. It's hard to go much further then that right now since I'm still waiting on a lot of rsvps.

Update on my seating chart: it's done! My awesome FSIL helped FI and me work on it last night. It is technically a rough draft as we are still waiting to hear back from some people, but I can take it from here. Now I have to take what we did and put it on TK's seating chart so I always have it with, haha!

Thanks for the idea! I used it tonight and did my seating chart in under a hour. I think I will have to tweak it a bit, but otherwise it is done!!!
