Morning ladies!
One more day!
Went home last night, took care of the trash and pooper scooping the yard. Ate a egg, cheese and avacodo sandwich for dinner. Now I need to figure out tonights meal.
Atticus woke me at 6:22AM, ugh! But it was a good thing I needed to leave early because I had to take a detour to work.
Whats up here?!

[QUOTE]hehe. I am easily confused. yum avocado..... I made tilapia tacos last night but I think the spice was too much for my reflux. I've wanted to puke all morning. On top of that I have a cold and just generally feel like crap. I also made chicken caccitore in the crockpot overnight. Although if my stomach keeps up, I won't be eating it tonight. It's healthy-ish too- from skinnytaste.com.

Sorry Star, I used to get really bad heart burn, not sure why, it just kid of stopped happening. But I know my son-in-law has to be on medication for life. Do you take any prescriptions?
H is out of town, so this in my weird eating week ;)

On another note, am I the only one who is loving this weather?? I adore the fall and when it gets all dreary it just makes me want to go home, light a fire and put on my PJs!
I wish I could move. I'm so restless lately and want, need, change. But I don't know what kind of change I want. Just...something different.
On a happier note, I ordered 2 Christmas gifts last night. That always makes me happy. One is really goofy, but useful. It's my SS gift for Christmas at my grandma's and suits my person perfectly.

We have talked about moving to TN a lot lately. That would hinge on H getting relocated with his job. I've told him I'd only move to TN, NC, or SC. That's it. That way I'm not TOO far from my family, and we are closer to granddaughter.
This is also an economically challeneged area, but is on the way to a major upswing.
I was terrified to leave everything I've ever known (I've always lived within the same 15km radius) and start over. I called it an adventure, and it's certainly been that! We've bought a house, made friends and are enjoying an active northern life that I never imagined I would like.
Good luck!
Star, I'm no help either.
It's a status quo day for me. Only exciting thing is booking my rental car and hotel for Nashville in 2 weeks. A girls trip that I so desparetly need.
Sesh, you are a better woman than I am. I almost flipped off a Christmas display at CVS last week so I'm not even thinking about starting to shop for it yet.
[QUOTE]Good morning all. Star, I'm no help either. :( With the exception of the 4 months I lived in Pueblo CO (the armpit of Colorado, btw) and the year I traveled, I've only lived in Arizona. Awesome, this is where we would move if husband got a transfer. Have a great time, whats on your to do list there?
Oh, stay out of Hobby Lobby than. They have Christmas galore.
Sorry Star – I haven’t a clue on relocating. Are there any location forums to check out? Or even maybe start small with posting on TK’s RI board (if there is one?) Maybe they could assist with some questions you have initially?
I can’t wait until tomorrow. I go on vacay as of Tuesday so this week and I’m sure Monday will feel like it’s moving slower than normal. Plus, who doesn’t love Fridays!
I’m shaking my head at FI. He worked from home yesterday and decided to do a good deed and check the mail (we have a postal box as they don’t deliver mail to the new houses in my city). I check it often on my way home but FI thought he’d be nice and save me the 2 second trip… All is well and good except doesn’t the package arrive that contains his bday gift in it L So there goes that gift haha Luckily I think I still have his big ticket item under wraps and he’ll be soooo stoked for it.
Other than that, I’m just working my butt off at work as they keep piling more onto my already large workload.
Hope everyone has an amazing day!
Edited formatting as it clumped together for some reason.. And changed the font

This is a great idea, do we have any knotties here who live in RI?
I hate it when those kind of things happen Dee. Its hard enough trying to surprise husband as it is.

Thanks. I thought of that since I'll be posting on the Michigan board shortly asking for recommendations on areas/places to stay soon for our New Years trip to watch the Winter Classic game (Hockey Game - FI's big bday item that is sitll a surprise thankfully!)
And yes, it's quite hard to surprise him. He doesn't really ask for anything and if he does, it's usually something practical.. (Hoooray, here is your new electric toothbrush lol)

You better cross your fingers that it still happens!! I'll be so upset. I went to "the big freeze" (U of M/MSU hockey game) that they did at the Big House a few years ago and it was a really good time.
