outdoor wedding reception venue

Hi all,
Has anyone heard/know of any great outdoor wedding reception venues?  I'm hoping to get married at the same location we have the reception as well.  At first, I was thinking the missouri botanical gardens but it is out of our price range.  Our wedding budget is $10,000 and I am pushing it, wanting to get married this summer.

I am getting married (ceremony and reception) at Villa Antonio Winery.  It's off the Pevely exit on Hwy 55.  It's gorgeous!

I second this... Villa is gorgeous, they were out of our budget, but I would have LOVED to use them.

I was going to suggest Villa Antonia!  Lovely place, great food.

You could also look at Chimney Rock in Imperial / Kimswick depending on the size of your guest list.  I didn't get a chance to go there, but I have heard it is gorgeous.

Has anyone heard of "Moments by Marohl" ?  Its a husband and wife team who do photography and they also have an "outdoor studio" in Greenville, IL where they have hosted wedding ceremonies and receptions.  Their website only has details on the photography and I'd like to see what other brides have heard/experienced with regards to their wedding site. Thanks everyone!! Cool

Villa Antonia is very nice...however, when we met with them, the coordinator said that the minute she started to see someone get intoxicated, she would take them aside, get them a glass of water and some food and sit them away from the reception. My fiance and I did not want this as we want our friends and family to have a good time...of course nothing crazy, but it seemed too strict for our celebration that we want to have.
Further, you absolutely CANNOT leave cars parked in their lot over night so even if you provide transportation for your guests form the reception to the hotel there are issues to handle with the cars.

It was not a good fit for us despite being beautiful and having a great food selection, it was not the kind of place for us to have a wedding reception!

Try checking out the Highlands in Forest Park, they have a lot of really budget friendly options. I have a TINY budget and they have gone above and beyond. Plus they just rehabbed everything and the garden planting starts April 1 and I've seen the layout, it's beautiful.
Which did you like better? "Jedi" or "The Empire Strikes Back"? "Empire". Blasphemy. "Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.
