You all sold me on these earrings...but a ?

I posted this morning about earrings that I have been looking at online....and I completely agree with you all that the teardrop/pearl earrings are beautiful!

I found them on etsy (I couldn't remember where I saw the ones that I posted the pic of earlier but these are just about the same idea.) but the seller is from overseas (hong kong, I think) she got great reviews/comments about fast shipping and great products, but I tend to stay away from buying anything from overseas so I don't know what to do!

Should I take the chance? Find other ones that are similar (which I've done and found more expensive ones) or just give this shop a try?

I do like these and I am very curious to see what the other ladies think on this one.

I however would not do it. While it is through etsy and you said it has great reviews I am always cautious of anything overseas. I wouldn't do it but it's honestly how you feel about it. I would like to see what everyone else thinks.

Everything that is sold on etsy is supposed to be hand made. Those are definitely not. That being said, if you don't care about that (and they are super adorable!) I would get them, especially if they're cheaper than everything else.

Personally, I think I might keep looking for ones similar sold in the US, ordering from overseas would worry me.

I'm pretty sure not everything sold on Etsy is handmade, only if you click on the "handmade" category will handmade items pop up.

my friend ordered 2 pieces of jewelry on etsy from a seller in Hong Kong about 2 months ago and just got them in the mail. You're wedding is just over 2 months away so keep that in mind, it might be cutting it close.

Well that makes me feel a whole lot better!

I don't really care if they are handmade or not, I just really like the earrings and as long as they get to me, and are the same as they're shown in the pic I will be happy!

I found these ones too:

Teardrop CZs with Simple Pearls

They are from a seller in CA who also got great reviews...the only difference is the shape of the pearls....I'm not sure which ones I like better!

I can tell you the top teardrop with the CZ is not handmade, as I bought the same pieces (from an Etsy supplier) as part of my BMs earrings. However, the lower pearl part was probably added by hand (you have to wire ther pearls individually and then attach them to the top part), so I think that makes them semi-handmade. Here's my BM earrings if you want to see that the top part is the same:

The seller I bought them from doesn't make jewelry, she just sells the jewelry supplies. I could always make you a pair, I made the ones above. :)
