So my fiancé and I have talked about our bachelor/bachelorette parties and he doesn't really want one. I do. What do you guys think of combining them as a compromise?

    Very true! I asked him and he said he would like to be there to hang out with me. I think he is more worried about his best man/my brother getting him into trouble...

    I kinda feel like the only reason couples have a joint party is to keep an eye on each other...

    What Hoboken said. He doesn't need a party if he doesn't want one.

    That said I was invited to my FI's bachelor party (everyone attending is a mutual friend). I'm only going for dinner to see friends from cross country and I'll head home afterward. FI attended the dinner for my bachelorette party for the same reason and went home afterward.
