Travel agents?

Has anyone booked a honeymoon with an agent?  I am curious to know if you save a lot of money with discounts and deals, or if the commission racks up to be the same or more? 

Any suggestions?

    We're going to South Africa and booked with a travel agent.  There honestly wasn't much of a discount, but they helped us navigate as we moved from city to city. Also, they're letting us do a payment plan, which is nice, because it means we have money to pay for other things.

    i always use a travel agent for trips that involve going to another country.  they steer you to the right resort to be in and give you good deals.

    I use a travel agent for big trips - just makes life easier! Barbara at Skyway travel in ossining has been everywhere and knows the best places to stay & where to skip.
